Cartridge dust collector

The cartridge dust collector is composed of a cartridge as a filter element or a pulse jet dust collector. Compared with other dust collectors of the same volume, the cartridge filtration area is relatively large. Moreover, the cartridge filtration wind speed is small, and the resistance is not large. Furthermore, the cartridge filter materials are folded to increase the filtration area, which makes the cartridge dust collector structure more compact.

Product Description

The cartridge dust collector is composed of a cartridge as a filter element or a pulse jet filter collector. The cartridge replacement is performed externally on the cartridge filter. It requires no tools. This eliminates the need to work in confined spaces. Additionally, it allows workers to handle the cartridges without getting dirty. The cartridge is equipped with a rectangular top plate. This design simplifies operation and eliminates potential installation errors.

Cartridge dust collector filtration area is larger for filters of the same volume, resulting in lower wind speed and reduced resistance. The filter material is folded to maximize the filtration area while keeping the cartridge filter system compact. The ash removal efficiency is high (generally up to 99.6% or more) and the operation is convenient.

What Applications Should Use Cartridge dust Collectors Instead of Baghouses?

Cartridge dust collectors suit processes with high powder emissions and small, lightweight particles. They are also good for powder recovery and space-limited factories. In these cases, cartridge dust collectors are better than baghouses. They have efficient filters, a compact design, and a simple structure.

High Powder Emission Processes

Industries like cement and powder metallurgy produce fine dust. Cartridge dust collectors can effectively capture it using their filters.

High Powder Concentration but Small Particle Size

In precision industries, like electronics, powder particles are often below a few microns. Cartridge dust collectors can filter fine powder . Their multi-layer filters and high-efficiency materials make them effective.

Lightweight Powder Properties

In processes like flue gas desulfurization in coal-fired power plants, the fly ash generated is relatively light. Cartridge dust collectors use filters that can collect this powder. They won’t cause much damage.

Powder Recovery Needs

In metal working plants, the metal powder generated has potential reuse value. The cartridge dust collector can effectively separate and collect this powder for subsequent recovery.

High Space Requirements

The cartridge dust collectors are simple and small. So, they suit factories with limited space or where multiple units must operate in parallel.

Whether meeting new environmental compliance or safety requirements, or upgrading existing equipment, Darko can configure the best dust collection solution for you. This solution will suit your application, process, facility requirements, and budget. Dako cartridge dust collectors come standard with industry-leading nanofiber cartridge filters. These cartridge filters collect dust emissions and capture submicron air pollutant particles more efficiently and effectively. The patented pulse cleaning technology used in our cartridge dust collectors provides optimized cleaning capability. This technology allows for the most effective pulsed removal of dust from the filters. As a result, it enhances pulse cleaning energy, reduces pressure drop, extends cartridge filter life, and saves energy.
