Pneumatic butterfly valve

Pneumatic butterfly valve has excellent two-way sealing function. It consists of a pneumatic actuator and a butterfly valve. Pneumatic butterfly valve achieves opening and closing actions through a circular butterfly plate that rotates with the valve stem. This valve is primarily used for on/off control but can also be designed to have throttling or regulating functions. It is the best device for regulating flow, cutting off or connecting fluids on pipelines with different media such as petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, electric power, food, medicine, water supply and drainage, gas transportation, etc.

What are the advantages of the pneumatic butterfly valve ?

  • Rapid Response

It uses a pneumatic actuator to control the opening and closing of the valve, allowing for quick response and enabling rapid changes in fluid flow.

  • Space Savings

The pneumatic butterfly valve has a relatively small size and compact structure, saving installation space, making it easier to install and maintain in confined areas.

  • Low Pressure Loss

The internal structure  is simple, with relatively straight internal flow paths, resulting in lower resistance when fluid passes through, thus reducing pressure loss in the piping system.

  • Strong Corrosion Resistance

Drako typically makes the valve body and seat  from corrosion-resistant materials. These materials include stainless steel, duplex steel, and aluminum bronze. They provide high resistance to corrosive media.

  • Good Adjustability

It allows for adjustment of the valve opening. This is done by regulating the pressure of the air supply. It offers a wide adjustment range and high precision. This capability meets various flow control requirements.
